You can login to Epic from Mac and PC, but you can't print reports from the Mac.If you have trouble connecting to EPIC, first make sure your JAVA and Citrix Receiver software is up to date. Do not upgrade to the latest version of Citrix if you are using a Partners PC.
There are several ways to access Partners eCare / Epic:
- Partners PC: Click on Windows Start Menu Programs, All Programs, Workspace Favorites Folders, then select EPIC
- My Citrix / Workspace Apps: My Citrix / Workspace Apps link on the Partners Applications menu: Launch Epic Hyperspace.
- VPN (Portal Page): My Citrix Apps link on the Partners Applications menu on the Portal Page and then launching Epic Hyperspace.
- Web Browser: Click Partners Workspace to read about accessing from home or a non-Partners PC
If you use iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch), enroll in MobileIron to access Partners email, and other Partners resources.
if you use the iPad to access eCare/EPIC, but have trouble after login, you need to contact the Help Desk and ask for the Haiku/Canto team to help out.
*connection issue for windows 10: after installing the Citrix receiver, check the default app to handle file extensions *.ica and make sure it's set to Citrix Connection Manager.
(go to Settings, System, Default apps, scroll down and click "Choose default apps by file type", find .ica, and select Citrix Connection Manager*
